SecurLam® is considered a safety glass because it is more resistant to impact. It is a laminated glass composed by two or more glasses, glued by a polyvinyl butyral (PVB) plastic film between the glasses..
By varying the number and/or thickness of each component, laminated glass with different levels of safety is obtained.
If the glass breaks, the PVB film holds the fragments together, eliminating the possibility of accidents.
This peculiarity makes it ideal for the most different solutions.
