History

Vidreira Ideal do Fundão, Lda. was founded on November 28, 1975, in interior region of the country.

It was under the command of Mr. Vitor Rebordão and Mrs. Ana Rebordão, a bold entrepreneurs with great commercial vision, that the first glass transformation unit was installed in the city of Fundão and the process of growth, evolution and expansion of the company began, making it one of the most efficient in its segment from north to south of the country.

Throughout these 45 years of activity, the company has been able to change several pages of its history, and acquire a wide experience in the glass sector, reinforcing its capacity to respond to the challenges of an increasingly demanding market.

However, not discouraging the new trends and technologies that arise in the sector, following them, so that we are able to continue to respond to the increasingly elaborate requests of customers.

The new technologies implemented in the equipment for the glass industry have earned us the acuity necessary to reconvert the various production departments at the appropriate time. We are producing with the latest technology installed and with a covered area of 10.000m2.

In the search for better customer satisfaction, we have spared no effort, advancing on the path of progress and following the pace of economic growth, which allows us to continue to gain the recognition and demand of the most demanding, those who value quality in service provided.

In 2004 we introduced to the market a new brand SECURGLASS®, triggering an innovative security offer and a new range of products that emerged: SECURLAM®, SERIGLASS® and SECURLAC.

More recently we started the production of Certified Quality Insulated Glazing under the brand CONFORGLASS®, making it our product of election.

We have an assembled structure that allows us to respond to the most diverse requests and a team specialized in the production and assembly of all types of glass for the whole world.
